31st March 2011: Evening Masterclass and Networking Supper, Registration begins 5.45pm

1st April 2011: Conference - Registration begins 9.00 am

The Association for Coaching Ireland’s Second International Conference will challenge, will surprise and is a coaching conference that will be different from what has gone before; this is a conference that will break the mould.

Coaches of all disciplines and corporate and academic organisations developing coaching capability will be challenged to step up and step away from the tried and tested models. They will be invited to take risks, to stretch, to innovate - all critical factors in building resilience to thrive in challenging times.

The conference represents excellent value for money and commences with an evening masterclass and networking supper on the 31st March followed by a full day programme on the 1st of April 2011. You are welcome to attend either event or both. Association for Coaching members can avail of a discounted delegate rate, however all non members are welcome to attend and will be eligible for a discount on their membership fee should they join the Association within one month of attending the conference. For more details on membership offers please contact olivia@associationforcoaching.com.

During last summer, we surveyed our members asking how we could best serve their needs when organising our Conference. Most of the respondents expressed a desire for:

  • enhancing their existing skills and learning new techniques
  • hearing inspiring speakers from the ‘Real World’
  • looking at trends in coaching and hearing what others are doing
  • opportunities to find out more about developing your coaching practice, and your own development as a coach
  • Some Corporate members also expressed a desire to hear how other organisations have introduced coaching.

In designing our programme we have considered your responses and 'Breaking the Mould' is our response to the more common themes put forward by our members, with our sincere thanks for your inputs. We are confident that it fits the bill!

In order to accommodate the different requirements of our diverse (and rapidly-growing) membership, we will be organising two streams of workshops. One will focus on the needs of individual coaches and the other will have more of a corporate flavour. Of course, you can choose which you would like to attend.

Please visit the Association for Coaching Ireland stand which will be fully staffed during registration and during all breaks throughout the day. We will be happy to meet you and answer any questions you may have.
