With the importance of supervision support now firmly recognised by professional bodies and purchasers of coaching services, have you been asking yourself any of these questions:

'What is the magic of coaching supervision?'
'Is supervision equally valuable for newly qualified and experienced coaches?'
'What is the advantage of a regular supervisor over and above drop-in group telephone supervision sessions?'
'What benefits will I see in my coaching practice?'
'What is stopping me from finding my own supervisor and where would I start?'

You are warmly invited to join us at this interactive, thought-provoking and experiential session where we hope to answer all your questions!

If you are a professional coach, an individual providing internal coaching for your organisation, a qualified and or unqualified coach then this session will be of interest to you.

The session will highlight what coaching supervision is, how professional coaches benefit from a coaching supervisor and the rich learning experience it offers.

By the end of this session, you will have:

  • Explored the purpose of coaching supervision and the different types of supervision available
  • Experienced a self check-in process to help prepare for supervision
  • Participated in a facilitated, experiential group supervision session
  • Observed the benefits supervision can bring to coaches, coachees and fellow supervisees
  • Taken away ideas, tools and techniques, shared experiences and have a much better understanding of what coaching supervision means for you.

We invite you to bring an issue from your coaching practice that you would be willing to explore, without identification, in a small, confidential and supportive supervision group. One volunteer will be selected in each group.

Catherine Gorham, MAC, FCIPD
is an experienced coach, supervisor and OD consultant and won the Most Outstanding Leadership Coach Award 2017. As part of her independent practice she is Master Coach for a social work charity, supervising a community of coaches nationwide in groups and individually. She pays close attention to holding each supervision relationship, enabling supervisees to bring their whole selves and to invite new levels of noticing. Catherine has a passion for using the outdoors as a vehicle for exploring the inside with clients, if appropriate.

Mary Cross, MAC, MCIPD
is an accredited coach, supervisor and a member of the Association of Coaching Supervisors.
She offers a collaborative and creative learning space that is safe and encouraging for coaches who wish to develop themselves, their coaching skills and their coaching competencies. Mary works with individuals and groups of coaches and is currently working with an NHS Leadership Academy as their group supervisor

Sue Noble MAC, MACS
is a qualified and experienced coach (Level 7) and coaching supervisor.  Sue provides a reflective space for her supervisee’s to stop, think, and reflect on their coaching practice and the relationship they have with their own coaching clients. Sue is able to ‘hold the space’, listen, pick up on language patterns and gently challenge her supervisee’s with the aim of developing best practice in coaching and ensuring her clients are working within ethical guidelines.  Sue is currently developing an Internal Coaching Supervision Endorsed programme through ILM aimed at organisation’s who have their own internal and qualified coaches.

This workshop is eligible for CPD and a Certificate will be given the night of the event. We look forward to seeing you there!
