Positive Psychology has been described as the 'science of what makes life worth living'. The evidence is building that it’s application results in less anxiety, stress & depression and increased levels of hope, resilience & goal striving which contributes directly to greater well-being, physical health, life satisfaction and performance in work, study and life.
Positive Psychology is therefore increasingly being harnessed by executive coaches, L&D professionals and business leaders to help people to navigate successfully through workplace challenges and opportunities. In turn organisations can reap tangible benefits relating to profitability, productivity and customer loyalty.
Drawing upon the very latest global research and his own extensive experience as an organisational coach working within the corporate, government and education sectors, Clive Leach will be providing a lively and engaging introduction to the application of Positive Psychology Coaching in the workplace.
Participants will take away:
- The latest definitions of optimal functioning and how we can measure it
- An understanding of the Well-being & Engagement Framework
- An introduction to the PERMAH model
- Some practical evidence-based coaching tools and tips that coaches can apply to enhance the well-being of themselves and their clients
All content and activity will be fully referenced.
