This highly interactive event, will introduce the use of creative methods of coaching, self-reflection and supervision.  Attending offers you the opportunity to experience using several creative techniques in a variety of formats.

SPEAKER BIO

 

Liz Ford is an AC Accredited Executive Coach and Accredited Coach Supervisor with a passion for learning. She believes in working in partnership with her clients to foster potential, build belief and inspire excellence.

 

In her coaching she works with managers and leaders in a variety of public, private and third sector organisations helping them to get the best from themselves and their teams. She also specialises in working with individuals with mental health and neurodiversity issues, enabling them to use their strengths to perform at their best in the workplace.

 

In her supervision work her areas of expertise include; developing creative skills for coaching, providing external supervision for internal coaches, promoting reflective learning, providing on-going practice opportunities for coaches, supporting coaches working towards accreditation and developing coaches in training.

 

Her approach is reflective and imaginative and she uses a variety of creative methods to aid exploration and learning including the outdoors, images, colour, metaphor, music and movement. Theories underpinning her work include; emotional intelligence, clean language and emergent knowledge, positive psychology and adult learning.

 

Prior to becoming an independent executive coach and consultant Liz spent ten years both nursing and managing in the NHS before moving into the Healthcare Industry and progressing to the role of UK Training and Development Manager for a large global dialysis company. She has run her own coaching and consulting business since November 2001.

 

As well as running her own business, she is an Associate Tutor at Bradford University School of Management, a Coach Practice Tutor / Academic Marker for Novum, an Associate Coach with Genius Within and has chaired the Bradford AC Co-coaching Forum for the past 10 years.
