In this interactive webinar Michelle will bring to life a well-known model of supervision to help you understand 'why' coaching supervision is helpful in your practice as well as highlighting the complexity of 'what' is involved when reviewing our client work. Michelle’s open approach will help coaches of all levels engage and ask the questions that are pertinent for them.
The session’s aim is to illustrate what supervision means for your development as a coach and how you can be a proactive partner in the relationship. So….What’s so super about supervision? In brief, together with your supervisor you will access what lies just beyond your awareness …. Quite literally it is 'super'-vision.
In this webinar you will learn:
This event will provide all coaches, from novices to experienced professionals, with an understanding of how they can make coaching supervision work for them. It will:
a) Reduce any fear factor associated with the word 'supervision',
b) Help you to gain a good understanding of a supervision model,
c) Build your confidence to create a supervision partnership that truly works for you.
We will also consider key learning points such as...
- What makes a great coach?
- What is reflective practice … and how can you make it work for you?
- Understanding were supervision fits into the learning cycle
The recording and slides will be made available for all registered participants.

Michelle Lucas has run her own business since 2006 and specialises in providing executive coaching and coaching supervision. She also trains internal coaches through an Accredited Experiential Coach Development Programme and she trains internal coaches to become internal group coaching supervisors.
Michelle has a background in Psychology and Commercially oriented HR and therefore brings to her clients a solid understanding of what makes individuals and organisations 'tick' and, of course, the interplay between the two. She was trained at Oxford Brookes in both Coaching & Mentoring and Coaching Supervision – and has a Post Grad Diploma in both subjects. Michelle is Passionate about articulating standards in the market place. She is an Accredited Executive Master Coach and an Accredited Coaching Supervisor with the AC.
Michelle has recently co-authored two books about Supervision, published by Routledge, and is embarking on a third. She is an active contributor for the Association for Coaching, and currently works as our Supervision Education Lead. Find more about Michelle here.
