We are delighted to welcome Sara Hammond to speak at our Hertfordshire region.

This event is aimed at coaches from all approaches and levels of experience.

During the evening we will experience some mindfulness practices and explore how they can support us both personally and professionally. Additionally we will take a brief look at some of the research findings on mindfulness generally and in the coaching context.  We will explore how mindfulness can help build our own embodied presence enabling deeper levels of listening and client attunement.

We will consider how mindfulness can support us before, during and after a coaching session and the role it can play in the self-care of the coach
Coaches, coach therapists and supervisors.

You will learn:

  • What mindfulness is and isn’t
  • The benefits and contraindications of mindfulness
  • How a mindfulness practice can enhance the coach’s embodied presence
  • How mindfulness can support coaches personally and professionally

N.B. The focus of this workshop is about discovering how mindfulness can help to enhance the coach’s presence, client attunement and self-care.  It is not about learning mindfulness tools that coaches can use with their clients.
