Positive Psychology for Coaches: A Coaching Exchange Event will be led by coach Paul Hemphill.

Positive Psychology is the science of happiness and wellbeing, now taught in most University psychology departments across the world. Positive Psychology is not about promising a life of blissful contentment in which nothing ever troubles you. But it is based on a core principle that however happy or unhappy you are today, it is almost always possible for you to be happier tomorrow. Understanding how this can be achieved is particularly relevant for all coaches, managers and anyone responsible for helping other people lead happier, more productive lives. Led by highly experienced life coach, Paul Hemphill, this training and workshop event aims to do just that, as well as providing you with some helpful take-away tools and exercises. Finally, it will give you a great opportunity to discuss and agree some relevant Positive Psychology based best practice with other coaches and managers.

. The workshop is divided into three main sections:

·         Foundational happiness: The things we all need to some extent in order to be happy.

·         True happiness: The things we can do to raise our happiness levels by better looking after ourselves and others.

·         Transcendence: Changing the way we think to bring about the highest levels of happiness and inner peace.

Places are limited so please book now!

After a long and successful management career, mostly in the public sector, Paul Hemphill established his coaching practice, Horizons Life Coaching, in 2012. He specialises in helping individuals with challenging issues such as career development, confidence and anxiety, and acquiring leadership skills. His long-standing interest in Positive Psychology has been the source of his second key business area: running wellbeing workshops for organisations such as Barnardo’s, Mind and several leading Housing Associations. More recently he has published his first online course, “Positive Psychology for Coaches and Therapists” which has already attracted interest and sales from all over the world.

Attendance qualifies for CPD and a certificate will be emailed to you post-event.
