The Live Coaching Demo” programme is an AC Digital Learning initiative, offering our community access to new coaching approaches and techniques through LIVE online learning with Coaches who are willing to share their experience and mastery in coaching.

Description of the Coaching Approach or Technique

Clean Coaching provides a different, simple yet highly effective approach to one-to-one facilitation. It is a style, strategy and set of techniques that help coachees gain insight and make changes through discovering more about their own ‘insider’ perspective: of themselves and the world around them.

Through the use of specifically-phrased, structured coaching questions, the coach’s own biased perspectives are stripped from their language, ensuring the coachee’s unique personal experience is honoured.

The Clean Coaching approach incorporates the Clean techniques developed by the late great David Grove, including Clean Language, Clean Space and Emergent Knowledge

Who is this for?

This webinar is for all coaches interested in encouraging their coachees to take more responsibility during the coaching sessions and for taking action afterwards. Also for coaches wanting to experience an approach to coaching that encourages creativity and a different, deeper way of thinking.

By the end of the demonstration, you will learn how you can be non-directive as a coach without becoming direction-less. You’ll witness how doing less means your coachee has the opportunity to grow more. Finally you will see how simple resources like the space around the coachee and the metaphoric language they use can be the fuel to creative discovery.

Preparation & Resources:

You do not need to prepare for this session at all, please just arrive with an open mind. You might like to read an article or two on the Clean Coaching approach which you can access here:

The session will be transcribed and distributed a few weeks after the live session, with further guidance notes on the rationale / reason behind the questions asked and approach taken.
