About the event

The Association for Coaching (AC) are delighted to welcome Adrian van den Bok for an event titled "There Are Always Alternate Narratives".

The stories we have about ourselves, others and the world profoundly shape our experience, behaviour and relationships. Mostly, these stories are taken-for-granted truths, we don’t see how we see. Drawing on ideas found in Narrative Therapy, this lunchtime conversation is intended to free-up some new possibilities for our understanding of what it is to a person. It is an opportunity to critically examine some of the discourses and language that produce our frequently limiting interpretative repertoires. In particular, we will reflect on “multiple identities and multiple authenticities” and the social construction of identity. A brief presentation will set the stage for a dialogue in order to bring these themes to life.

Member Price AUD 35.00 / £ 18.80 Non Member Price AUD 45.00 / £ 24.15*.

*All payments are processed in GBP. AUD prices indicated may vary due to exchange rates.
