Hilary McLellan & Dr Ashleigh McLellan
Regularly the biggest challenge we face in behavioural change is our own self-critic, what it says, how it says it and the values and beliefs it forms in our deeply set unconscious behavioural habits. The first step to release our ability to bring about the change we want. This happens when we develop a compassionate mind.
Developing your Compassionate Mind
It's a transition that requires work, commitment and a deep personal desire and/or reason to develop your best self. Hilary and Ashleigh appreciate this from their own life experiences and continued commitment to developing their own emotional intelligence and compassionate mind.
It also takes time, in a safe environment, to notice and understand what makes us uncomfortable, anxious, scared, shameful. Self-compassion is the starting point.
In this Skills Development Day you will learn:
- Understand the basic principles of compassion and how to cultivate compassion through coaching practice to enhance behavioural change and well-being.
- Take part in experiential learning with support and guidance, to develop your own compassionate self.
