Rebecca Benton

An informative and interactive session focusing on how a desire to help others can motivate us as coaches and can also trip us up.

A mixture of personal experience, theory and practical approaches to help inform and improve our coaching and our lives. An exploration of the deeper roots of the syndrome, as well as an interactive workshop with plenty of opportunities to share and learn from each other.

In this skills development evening you will

  • Understand how to spot the signs of the helper syndrome in yourself and ways to tackle it
  • Explore the positive and negative aspects of helper syndrome – for coaches and for our clients
  • Enable self-assessment and self-reflection to apply discussion personally
  • Identify possible actions and remedies
