About the event:
The Association for Coaching (AC) Australia Victoria are delighted to invite you to join us for our inaugural event with Dr David Drake: ‘Life, Death and the In-Between: Freeing Ourselves to Talk about What Matters’.
While coaching often enables people to achieve more than they thought possible, its greatest gift may be the freedom clients gain in the process. We can serve them more courageously if we have freed ourselves first.
As we grapple with the crises we have unleashed at many levels on our planet, coaches have an urgent opportunity to develop new ways of bringing our work to the world. I believe this will largely happen beyond coaching as practitioners seek to create more integrative practices. I formed Moment Institute for this very reason, and I would like to share one of our core practices with you.
The world needs us to move past fake news, fads and fear so that we can step into our deeper calling. Coaching was never the point. Now more so than ever. It is just one of the resources we need at our disposal to serve our mission and our clients in this precarious time. It starts with our willingness to go on the journey for ourselves. The event will be a provocative and powerful point on that path. Come join the conversation!
What you will learn:
David invites us to explore and learn:
- The ‘Three Chairs’ technique;
- What it is like to inquire and engage people and their stories in a profoundly human way;

- To talk more openly about what matters;
- To have these conversations with your clients.
