Teams. Probably one of the most over-used words in organisations today. We need to understand what a team is, what it looks like, and why simply putting together a number of people and expecting them to work as a team is not enough. Of course, teams now have another dimension – a virtual one.
During this 2-hour workshop, we will be looking at teams in detail, and discover how the language of Belbin (the global gold-standard team tool and methodology) can be used to help teams understand their strengths, weaknesses, potential conflicts and culture.
We will break in to small groups and use our own data on our individual findings to start conversations, and get used to using the language of Belbin to help us communicate and understand how best to make the most effective and useful contributions.
In this Virtual Event you will understand:
- What a team is
What are the crucial elements for effective teamwork
What Belbin is – an introduction to the language of teams
How to use this language to enable to team to become more effective
Your own Belbin findings and gain an element of self-awareness and learning throughout the session.
