About this Event:

This is an interactive, practical Virtual Event in which:

We will develop an understanding of how culture shock (whether triggered by moving countries, moving jobs or the Covid-19 situation) can impact on us and on our coaching clients psychologically; in some cases shattering our assumptive world.

We will explore how utilising change models can help create perspective and enable coaching clients to defuse from their emotive responses to such change.

We will explore how utilising clear goal visualisation, acceptance and strengths techniques can help us and our clients mitigate against challenges to identity and purpose caused by cultural transition.

We will try out evidence-based positive psychology techniques which can be used to support wellbeing through transition.

We will explore how and to what extent these models and techniques can be utilised in coaching.

In this Virtual Event you will learn to:

  • Develop greater understanding of culture shock and the cultural transition process.
  • Explore coaching approaches which support clients through change.
  • Utilise positive psychology, acceptance and strengths approaches to support coaching clients.
