Dr Amina Aitsi-Selmi is a Cambridge University trained medical doctor and PhD with a passion for big picture thinking, fairness and human wellbeing. She specialised in Global Health and worked as a senior Public Health expert with government and intergovernmental agencies including the UK Department of Health, World Health Organisation and other United Nations’ agencies.
Following a series of personal insights in 2014, she set up an independent coaching practice to support other women and transformational leaders to increase their impact exponentially by breaking out of the success trap, finding their right path and creating more balance, peace and contentment in the second cycle of life.
She is the author of the weekly blog Wise Wednesdays in which she shares insights and strategies on career change, leadership and balance. She has been an invited speaker at a variety of organisations including Societe Generale, UCL, TATE Exchange, Health Education England.
Dr Amina Aitsi-Selmi coaches physicians, public servants, lawyers, accountants, policy makers and high functioning professionals in a variety of sectors. Her clients enjoy the flexibility of coaching by video call and in-person meetings at Harley Street. She also hosts a Leadership Circle for groups at Harley Street.
Her intention is that by supporting knowledge workers to empower their Thought Leader within and multiply their entrepreneurial skills that, together, we can make a dent in solving the 21st Century’s most pressing problems while improving immediate health and wellbeing.
I'm the Founder of the RSA Coaching Network and am affiliated to various organisations. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling and spending time with family and friends. I'm a keen fencer (Epee) and train several times a week.
