Katie is an experienced coaching psychologist and trainer. Katie is passionate about using the scientific research from the field of positive psychology to enable others to enhance their well-being and reach their potential in their work and personal life.
Katie holds a Masters in Applied Psychology (Coaching Psychology) from University College Cork. Katie presented the findings from her research thesis, which explored young males’ perception of coaching as a help service option, at the Psychological Society of Ireland’s annual conference on the 13th of November, 2015. The abstract from this research was published in The Irish Psychologist journal.
Katie also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is a certified trainer. Katie attends regular continuous professional development courses run by the Association for Coaching and the Coaching Psychology Special Interest Group of the Psychological Society of Ireland.

I am passionate about supporting individuals to reach personal goals by using evidenced based coaching tools. I use strengths based coaching and positive psychology interventions in my work with clients. I am also very interested in using Acceptance Commitment Therapy in the coaching setting.
