The Director of Viv Chitty Associates, Viv has specialised in Executive Coaching for the last 19 years, concentrating on improving the performance of senior executives within numerous organisations. Viv’s qualifications, extensive training and background in coaching and consultancy allows her to work with psychological depth to enable her clients to achieve real behavioural change and new insight, sometimes in sensitive situations. With a real passion for making a difference, Viv’s mix of honesty, compassion, trust and challenge and her ability to work with her intuition enable her to forge strong relationships and create real and sustainable breakthroughs in performance. Viv originally qualified with the School of Coaching and also has a BSc in psychology; post-graduate diploma in counselling and a diploma in coaching supervision with the Coaching Supervision Academy. She is currently in the final year of a Masters in coaching and mentoring with Oxford Brookes University.
Viv offers both Executive and Board Level Coaching plus Coaching Supervision. Topics she has worked with clients to address in coaching include: transition to more senior roles including the operating Board; developing a unique leadership style; impact and presence; influencing others to get buy-in; strategic planning and associated judgements; building and motivating teams for high performance; networking; living and leading through periods of transition (both personal and organisational; managing relationships with senior colleagues, peers and staff including handling emotions in others; heightening awareness of thought processes and behaviour including what impact one might have and how one might be perceived by others; developing resilience and career transition or retirement.
Viv is particularly interested in working with highly experience and motivated senior executives who, because of their senior role, have few other people they can trust and talk to in order to explore and improve their performance.
