I have lived and worked across all major EMEA and Asia Pacific developed and developing markets. Although based in the UK, I am flexible as to coaching location and have recently coached executives in France, Russia, India and Hong Kong - in person and by Skype.
As a coach and advisor to individuals and businesses, I use my deep and varied experience across the commercial, cultural and charity sectors, to bring fresh and challenging perspectives. Having worked in organisations both large and small, around the world, I am able to help people navigate through complex, cross-cultural challenges. I have a successful career, as a commercial leader, of going into difficult and ambiguous business situations, where people and teams are looking to create new ways of working. Now, as a coach, my passion is to use these experiences to help others through their own journeys of change and businesses through transformation, particularly within fast-moving environments. I use constructive challenge, compassion and reflection as ways to enable my clients and their businesses to be the best that they can be.
I support individual and team coaching. I have also carried our Board Effectiveness reviews. My coaching is practical and business focussed, based on 37 years of corporate experience in complex environments. I have also supported technology start-ups and social enterprises. I do a lot of work in mentoring women through the Said and INSEAD Business School programmes.
I have deep interest in the arts and have helped lead community arts organisations. I am currently Chairman of The Audience Agency, where we hold and use the national, cultural data set to help arts organisations understand audiences and provide wider access to their public. I am also a voluntary counsellor and, particularly, support young adults.
