With over 30 years of business and management experience, my most recent role was Publishing Director of Shortlist Media where I was responsible for the commercial launch and success of the Stylist brand including the magazine, website and events. Together, we created one of the most iconic brands in UK publishing. This experience has given me a deep understanding of operating in a challenging environment, where change is endemic and there are no obvious answers. Having worked in both heavily female and heavily male environments, I’m uniquely placed to understand how important a diverse working environment is, and how crucial it is to listen to varied voices around the business. Having achieved my accreditation in January 2018, I have logged over 100 hours of coaching, working with individuals from blue chip companies such as: Marks & Spencer, Chanel, The Estee Lauder Group of Companies and start-ups such as The LaLa Creative Agency.
Coaching men and women for performance, development, and key skills, I have worked both with long established blue chip companies and start-ups. My years of business experience mean, I know what it's like to be responsible for revenue, for a brand, for running a team, and the day to day pressures that go with that. I draw on this experience to adapt to each individual I coach, endeavouring to understand business problems and unconscious bias in the workplace. Coaching on a 1-2-1 basis I work to give people from differing backgrounds the confidence to bring about change, and help to create a more diverse working environment for all.
