Before working independently, I was an HRD Manager at American Express. My passion is to help people realise their potential & develop their leadership & communication skills. Coaching is a client-centred process. My role is to enable the client, with insightful questions, support & challenge, to build on what’s working, see what’s not working & find strategies to achieve goals. I blend transactional analysis with other approaches so clients gain insights & learn practical tools. Contracting is at the heart of my coaching. It gives clarity & transparency for all involved in the coaching relationship & sets a safe space to focus on coaching goals. I have tutored ILM Level 5 leadership coaching & executive mentoring programmes. I run coaching skills courses for managers. I also provide training for organisations to develop in-house coaches & mentors. I am bound by the code of ethics of the ITAA and am supervised by a Teaching & Supervising Transactional Analyst.

I specialise in enabling people to build effective work relationships and leadership, whether this is self-leadership or leading others.
