Bristol West of England South Wales UK-wide by phone/Skype/WhatsApp
I bring to my coaching a blend of business skills and emotional intelligence.
I have been a successful employment lawyer, owning and running a law firm since 2009 and winning a major national legal award in 2018. Through this I have gained a lot of commercial experience across businesses large and small. I have also held various NED and trustee roles in a range of organisations with turnovers up to £138 million. I am a Fellow of the IoD and one of its South West Ambassadors. I am a Business Fellow at UWE and a guest lecturer at both UWE and the University of Bristol.
I also believe strongly that emotional intelligence, insight and self-awareness are the most important aspects to anyone’s success and development. My coaching work takes full account of how we are all ruled by our emotions (like it or not!) and how we can benefit enormously from knowing our blind spots, our hang-ups and the things we avoid doing because they feel too difficult or too risky.
I coach leaders, executives and managers in both public and private organisations, large and small.
I also work with professionals such as lawyers, accountants, doctors, HR consultants and head teachers.
Most of my work is face-to-face. I also offer coaching by phone/Skype/WhatsApp.
I work one-to-one, covering a wide range of topics and challenges that may arise for my clients, e.g. strategic planning, sales & marketing, managing upwards, HR/people issues, legal risks, accounts, time management, promotion and retirement. In many areas I can offer mentoring/consultancy as well as ‘pure’ coaching.
I also cover a wide range of emotional intelligence issues, with the aim of my client approaching every day at work with their eyes wide open to the psychology of the workplace and how to best understand and handle the emotions (conscious and unconscious) of themselves and their colleagues.
