My professional experience has given me great insight into the particular challenges that female executives face, both on their fight up the greasy pole and in their battle to remain at the top, should they wish to stay there. I feel passionately about diversity of all kinds and I would like to develop a coaching practice that reflects true diversity, not just of gender or race but thought, age, disability and every other group. In my experience, an executive coach provides his or her clients with a safe, non-judgemental place where vulnerability does not carry a penalty and they have the time to consider issues in greater detail, analyse their response and create strategies to drive positive outcomes, comfortable that anything said remains in confidence. I have often been used as a sounding board or acted as an audience of one whilst my coachee articulates a strategy or power play for the first time.
Executive Coaching. I have extensive experience working with tech start-ups and the specific challenges facing senior executives as they transition from a small founder-led company to a global firm with Private Equity or other stakeholders who are often pursuing a different, sometimes contradictory agenda to the actual management team. I enjoy helping clients with issues that crop up due to changes in their circumstances or a new role they have taken or have been offered.
