Group coaching supervision provides an opportunity for coaches to work together with other professionals to review their cases and explore issues and challenges from a personal, professional, and systemic perspective.

The process of group supervision provides insight, reflection, direction, support, and the sharing of expertise. Group members learn to help one another improve the quality of their coaching, grow their coaching capacity, and support each other in their practice.

This group uses two experienced and trained supervisors to act as a guide and resource to the group. Group supervision involves a mix of peer-to-peer dialogue and supervisor-guided reflection. The group members provide multiple perspectives on the issues under discussion while the supervisors facilitate the process, adding direct observation and expert instruction when needed.

Participating in supervision helps coaches to:

  1. Develop personally and professionally by reflecting on their work, developing greater understanding and capacity
  2. Support themselves and others to manage the effect of the client’s and coach’s emotions and stress
  3. Ensure their coaching practice is professional and ethical

Who is this for?

  • AC members only.
  • Coaches (internal or external) who maintain an active caseload
  • Participants with prior experience of supervision are welcome, however it is not necessary to have engaged in coaching supervision to join the group

For those who apply, you will be invited to a 25 minute “get-to-know-you virtual meeting” with the facilitators to ensure a mutual fit and learn about your goals for the group before your place is confirmed.
