About AC Virtual Supervision Experience Groups

The Association for Coaching (AC) Virtual Supervision Experience Groups are a member benefit, complimentary for new and developing AC coach members.

Each session takes place in a small group, enabling every participant to engage fully, contribute meaningfully, and benefit from shared learning. Sessions are hosted by experienced AC Coach Supervisors who bring depth of expertise and a strong understanding of professional practice.

These groups offer a structured and supportive environment to experience supervision in action.

Why Attend?

Virtual Supervision Experience Groups provide a safe and confidential space to:

• Experience a ‘taster’ session of group supervision in practice
• Explore client work, coaching challenges, and ethical considerations
• Reflect on your own coaching practice
• Strengthen professional judgement and self-awareness
• Connect with fellow AC members in a shared learning environment.
  

This is an opportunity to reflect and develop a greater awareness of your practice with the support of peers and an experienced supervisor.

Format of Virtual Supervision Experience Groups

Each session has its own character, shaped by the participants and the themes brought into the space. However, all groups follow a clear and consistent structure:

• Arrivals and Introductions – welcoming and encouraging everyone to be present
• Contracting – confirming and agreeing ways of working during the supervision session 
• Practice Reflection – this is the heart of the session with each participant having an allocated time to reflect on a 'live' issue or theme they are currently working within their coaching practice
• Consolidating Learning – each participant briefly reflects on their main ‘learning’ and take away from the session
• Departures and Journeying on – transition from the experience of supervision to preparation for moving into your everyday space.

This is the member benefit, complimentary to AC members. 

Places are limited to a small group of participants to ensure a high-quality supervision experience and meaningful contribution from everyone attending.

By booking a place, you are committing to attend. These sessions are in high demand and late cancellations prevent other members from benefiting from the opportunity. If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your place as early as possible so it can be offered to another member by emailing coachsupervision@associationforcoaching.com.

The session will begin promptly at the scheduled time. To support a safe and focused group space, we ask all participants to join on time. Late arrivals may not be admitted or may be asked to rebook for a future session.

AC Virtual Supervision Experience Groups are confidential professional spaces. Participants are expected to maintain confidentiality at all times. To protect confidentiality, sessions are not recorded.

Ethical Practice
AC Virtual Supervision Experience Groups are aligned with the Global Code of Ethics for Coaches, Mentors and Supervisors. Participants are expected to uphold these principles throughout the session.

The AC Virtual Supervision Experience Groups are designed as an introduction to group supervision.

If you wish to continue developing your coaching practice through ongoing reflective practice, whether in a group setting or through one-to-one supervision, you can find a qualified Coach Supervisor through the AC’s Membership Directory.
