James Manktelow is a tech founder, a writer, a business-growth coach focused on green startups, and an angel investor.
James began his career as a developer with the fintech company, CQ Systems Ltd, ultimately becoming Director, Marketing. He earned his MBA at London Business School in 1999 and 2000.
In 1996, he founded MindTools.com. This grew to become a global leadership-training business: by 2019, it served 24 million users each year in 160 countries, providing management and leadership training to individuals and blue-chip corporate clients worldwide.
As well as leading Mind Tools, James has written or contributed to more than 1,000 articles on management and leadership, and eight books and ebooks.
James’ coaching and mentoring focuses on helping entrepreneurs think through the issues they face as they grow their businesses, and challenges them to set courageous goals for themselves and for their organisations.
