Association for Coaching's (AC) Recognition of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Hours
The Association for Coaching's (AC) Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Hours Scheme is designed to recognize the hours for ongoing professional development.
This scheme is specially created for organizations offering ongoing learning and development, not exclusive to coach training. This allows their participants evidence of hours taken of ongoing professional development. This may apply to courses, workshops, certifications, webinars and events which can be used towards CPD elements of AC accreditation and other related programmes.
Organizations do not need to be members of the AC in order to qualify.
What is Ongoing Professional Development?
Ongoing Professional Development is training in skills that contribute to an individual’s professional development (e.g. personal development, coaching tools, ongoing coach training, or assessments, practice building, or other material that falls outside the AC’s Coaching Competencies).
Who can apply?
The CPD Hours Scheme is for organizations that demonstrate their courses contribute to Coaches' ongoing professional development. Organizations do not need to be members of the AC in order to qualify.
Examples of organizations who may wish to purchase this CPD Hours Scheme include:

Qualifying organizations can apply for each of their courses they would like to be a part of the AC CPD Hours Scheme, valid for a period of one year from the approval date.
