Visual Coaching: Exploring Six More Psychologies 

Research suggests that using visual imagery and visual language when communicating helps people focus, engage, and take action. So why don’t more coaches incorporate visual techniques into their coaching practice? 

Dr Yaron Prywes will introduce participants to innovative, field-tested visual techniques based on six more* psychologies that can be integrated into existing coaching repertoires. 

Participating in this programme will help you "see" your current practice in a new light. You will better understand the limits of a "word-heavy" coaching approach and how that may unintentionally hold your clients back. 

During the eight webinars in this Signature Programme, you will join Dr. Prywes in exploring visual techniques associated with six different schools of psychology.

Webinar one: Introduction
In this introductory webinar, we will focus on the power of a picture, the visual void in coaching, and the three "buckets" of Visual Coaching.

Webinar two: Behavioural Psychology
The second session will explore visual techniques designed to help clients modify their habits. 

Webinar three: Somatic Psychology
The third session will explore visual techniques designed to help clients access their body's wisdom. 

Webinar four: Neuropsychology
The fourth session will explore visual techniques designed to help rewrite neural pathways. 

Webinar five: Social Psychology
The fifth session will explore visual techniques designed to leverage a client's social circles.

Webinar six: Gestalt Psychology
The sixth session will explore visual techniques designed to help clients process the entirety of their situation.

Webinar seven: Systems Psychology
The seventh session will explore visual techniques designed to help clients modify the conditions which give rise to their current situation.

Webinar eight: Wrap-up Session
This final session will help you integrate what you have learned into your coaching practice.

Registered participants will gain access to the webinar recordings and slides after each session, along with any resources or reading lists shared during the course of the programme.

Speaker Bio

Dr. Yaron Prywes is a certified coaching psychologist with 15+ years of experience specializing in visual coaching. As an educator, he has trained, educated and supervised dozens of coaches at Columbia University.

As a scientist, he has led empirical studies examining the efficacy of coaching and has authored papers advocating for advances in the coaching profession. Dr. Prywes is writing the ‘Visual Coaching Handbook’ to capture creative coaching techniques aligned with 12 schools of psychology featured.
