Accreditation Non-Member Policy
 Non-Member Accreditation Policy

Association for Coaching (AC) Members and Non-members can apply for AC Accreditation. In all cases criteria need to be met for the relevant AC Accreditation Scheme and renewal of AC Accreditation will be required every 3 years.

1. AC Members – Non-Renewal of Membership

AC Members that hold AC Accreditation and choose to no longer be an AC Member will have the opportunity to maintain AC Accreditation status providing they are also a member of another professional body.

For non-renewal of AC Membership while holding AC Accreditation, please see below:

  • A pro-rata fee for the difference between AC Member and Non-Member AC Accreditation prices will be payable to the AC for any current AC Accreditation held.
  • The pro-rata fee will be dependent on how long the AC Accreditation has been held and the type of AC Accreditation held.
  • Upon renewal AC Accreditation fees will revert to Non-Member prices.
  • All fees payable will be communicated via email from an AC Membership & Accreditation Services team member.
  • Prices of Accreditation can be viewed on the Association for Coaching (AC) website here
  • Criteria for the relevant AC Accreditation for Non-Members must be maintained.

2. Non-Members Renewal

For non-members holding AC accreditation, please see below:

  • Upon renewal, AC non-member Accreditation fees will apply.
  • All fees payable will be communicated via email from an AC Membership & Accreditation Services team member.
  • Prices of Accreditation can be viewed on the Association for Coaching (AC) website here
  • Criteria for the relevant AC Accreditation Scheme for must be maintained.

3. Non-Members Renewal - Joining as an AC Member

For non-members holding AC accreditation that wish to become an AC Member, please see below:

  • A membership form will need to be completed.
  • Preferential AC Member Accreditation fees will be applicable.
  • All fees payable will be communicated via email from an AC Membership & Accreditation Services team member.
  • Prices of Accreditation can be viewed on the Association for Coaching (AC) website here
  • Criteria for the relevant AC Accreditation Scheme for must be maintained.

4. Non-Members - Joining as an AC Member – (part way through Accreditation period)

For non-members holding AC accreditation that wish to become an AC Member during their Accreditation period, please see below:

  • Relevant membership fees will be due.
  • A pro-rota adjustment of the difference between the Non-Member/AC Member price will be advised dependant on how long the AC Accreditation has been held and the type of AC Accreditation held.
  • Upon renewal, AC Accreditation fees will revert to AC Member prices.
  • All fees payable will be communicated via email from an AC Membership & Accreditation Services team member.
  • Prices of Accreditation can be viewed on the Association for Coaching (AC) website here
  • Criteria for the relevant AC Accreditation Scheme for must be maintained.

Accreditation renewal applicants, regardless of member/non-member status are required to follow the AC’s Global Code of Ethics
