Lisa is a Business, Life and Executive Coach with special interests in resilience and leadership. Having first qualified as a general nurse and subsequently as a midwife, Lisa has worked in a diverse range of clinical settings around the world. Now a Business, Career, Life, Resilience and Healthcare Leadership Coach, her coaching practice is firmly grounded in Carl Rogers' ethos of 'unconditional positive regard' for her clients. Her coaching approach is also underpinned by a deep knowledge of how physical and mental health is woven into every aspect of our personal and working lives. This insight enables her to help clients recognise and manage stress, make their health and wellbeing the cornerstone of every aspect of their lives, ground themselves and their leadership practices in their core values, reacquaint themselves with their life purpose, and design and implement meaningful changes that will last long after the coaching process has ended.
Lisa is a professional coach and trainer who works with business owners, professionals and executives who carry a lot of responsibilities and who want to do better in their leadership of others. Lisa’s in-depth nursing knowledge of human physiology is interwoven with proven coaching approaches along with emerging evidence from the world of neuroscience. She helps her clients manage their stress and develop a deep well of resilience so that they can achieve success without burning out. Managers in safety-critical or risk-averse sectors (who want to build a culture of psychological safety and learning at work) particularly benefit from her unique mix of skills - Coach, Trainer, Certified Just Culture Champion, Nurse, Midwife, business owner and Mentor. Her R.E.A.L. Leadership online programme is accredited for 7 CPD points with the CPD Standards Office. She gives talks and workshops on resilience to community and patient groups, business teams, at seminars and networking meetings.
