I believe that when we are truly connected to who we are- we are energised, and empowered to create change and become who we want to be. Prior to pursuing my Masters in UCC in Applied Psychology-Positive and Coaching Psychology, I worked as an Occupational Therapist in mental health in UK. This experience gave me lived insight into how the hectic pace of everyday life can at times fray the connection we have to ourselves and in turn, the connection we have to others, our work and our sense of fulfillment. Shaped by my personal and professional experience, my MA research explored how self-care was understood in coaching training and practice.
I draw from various evidence-based approaches such as positive psychology, acceptance and commitment coaching and solution focused coaching. I have a keen interest in the use of space, language, metaphor and embodied techniques as a means of helping us to 'unstick' ourselves.
I work with thoughtful, open-minded and motivated individuals and teams who care about developing their own and others self-expression and contribution to the world.
