My approach is person centred, solution focused, identifying strengths which can be built on towards a goal. By supporting a client to realise a goal, explore the reality of their situation, reflect on the options and test their will to reach that goal, as a coach I listen, reflect and summarise, ask questions and encourage curiosity. My clients are supported to be compassionate towards the self, to celebrate their successes, to build on what they love to do, discovering what they're good at. My clients have come from education, health, the arts and digital technologies. They've also been young apprentices aspiring to work in the creative industries.
My coaching has been on an individual, 1:1 basis, supporting clients who are: • CEO's of small to medium companies with strategic and personnel management. • Middle managers in arts organisations who want to develop their careers further. • Individuals who are going through a career transition, supporting them to identify their strengths; to make applications for new jobs, coaching towards he interview process. • Post graduates who are at the start of their careers.
My coaching is also with teams or groups of people who are seeking new ways of working together; or developing a new strategic outlook.
Supporting individuals, adults and young adults, who have been diagnosed with ADHD or have symptoms, to advocate for the best working or learning environments to suit their needs. Identifying their key strengths and coaching them to tackle work without stress or cognitive overload.
Alongside my coaching career I also work in theatre as a director in drama schools and secondary schools. As part of my drama practice I work in the community with neurodiverse young people and adults from challenging socio-economic backgrounds
