Can I become accredited without any formal coach training?

We expect that the majority of applicants will have completed a recognised or accredited programme of coach-specific training with a coach training provider. This training can be undertaken with any coach training provider and does not have to be an AC Accredited Course to meet the eligibility requirements. In the rare event that as an experienced coach you have not undertaken sufficient coach-specific training hours, you will need to make a case for how your background, skills, experience and other training and development has helped you to develop the AC coaching competencies.
