Recognition of your Team Coaching capability

AC Team Coach Accreditation allows Team Coaches to stand out in a busy marketplace, while providing an external quality assurance to buyers of coaching services.

Team coaching is “the application of coaching skills while working with a whole, intact team over time to improve inter-dependent members’ abilities to work together collaboratively to achieve the team’s collective purpose, potential and performance.”

As part of our on-going work to raise standards within the coaching industry, the Association for Coaching (AC) has designed a new accreditation scheme for practising team coaches.

After an extensive design and consultation process, this scheme will inform practitioners and organizational buyers about this new and fast-growing field, whilst addressing the need to develop a recognized international standard for coaching teams at work.

Our Team Coach Accreditation schemes offer a progression through three levels of accreditation. You apply for the level that best matches your current level of experience and capability, with a developmental path through higher levels of accreditation if applicable.

Our Team Coach Accreditation is inclusive - available to members and non-members - and available to you whatever your background, training, and experience. You get the opportunity to benchmark yourself against high professional standards in a rigorous and robust assessment process, where the focus is on accrediting fitness to practise rather than theory and academics.
