For Our Future

An AC Coaching Conversation with Lorenza Clifford and Denis Opio

"What if coaching could help heal not just individuals but entire communities, cultures, and ecosystems?"

Watch this powerful and thought-provoking LinkedIn Live conversation hosted by Hetty Einzig, featuring Lorenza Clifford, Founder of Coachange and a Coaching Supervisor, and Denis Opio, Advocate, Mentor, Coach, and visionary Founder of the Anyim Wa Community Initiative in Uganda. Together, they share insights from their recent work exploring coaching’s role in creating habitable futures.

“When a woman struggles, the children sleep hungry, and the community doesn’t gain from that either. When the community supports a mother, the children thrive, and everyone is set to gain from that in our future.”

In this session, Lorenza reflects on her conversation with Denis Opio, co-founder of the Anyim Wa Community Initiative in Northern Uganda – “Anyim Wa”, meaning “our future”. She will explore Denis’s inspiring, community-rooted coaching approach to support young mothers, out-of-school youth, and entire communities navigate the intersection of feminism, climate change, agriculture, and cultural transformation.

Expect to learn about:

  • How community coaching can drive sustainable change
  • The unique role of women in climate resilience and agricultural leadership
  • Blending coaching, mentoring, and local culture for deep-rooted impact
  • Lessons on listening, collective action, and shifting limiting norms

This event is for coaches, change-makers, and anyone passionate about social impact, equity, and regenerative futures. Come ready to be inspired, reflect, and see coaching in a new light — as a tool for individuals, communities, and ecosystems.

Our AC Coaching Conversations feature authors from the Coaching Perspectives magazine, this time focusing on “Feminism and Coaching”." (April 2025 edition).
