The research report Racial Justice, Equity and Belonging in Coaching by Charmaine Roche and Jonathan Passmore was published in October 2021. This report, with its recommendations for change, broke the silence on systemic racism as an issue in the coaching profession. Through a conversation between our speakers and the audience, this webinar explores what the impact been by asking: what has changed since then, what work remains to be done, and what contribution can we all make.

Speaker Bio's

Charmaine Roche is Director of Lifeflowbalance Coaching and Consulting Ltd. She holds a number of Governance and Associate roles based on her 29-year career as a leader, advisor and consultant to the education sector. She is an AC Accredited Executive Coach, a recognised thought leader and podcaster working to advance the theory and practice of coaching for social change and social justice.

Charmaine is currently undertaking PhD research exploring the ethics of coaching for social change in oppressive contexts. Her most recent publications include Decolonising Coaching (2019) and Racial Justice, Equity and Belonging (2021).

Jonathan Passmore is an international respected coaching psychologist, rated as one of the top 10 professional coaches in the world.

He has worked for PWC, IBM and OPM helping leaders, managers and organisations improve performance and wellbeing. He now divides his time between his private practice, as director of the Henley Centre for Coaching, Henley Business School and the University of Evora.

His work over the past three decades, including 30 books, and over 100 scientific articles have contributed to his position as a global thought leader.
