He became the first executive coach to offer virtual reality coaching, which he enthusiastically advocates as a much more natural, easier tool for coaches and coachees to use than video calls and one that we need to get used to. Sam explain, these tools can broaden the impact of our coaching conversations beyond using our cognitive left-brain into the subconscious awareness of our right brain.

Speaker Bio

Sam is an enthusiastic coach, coach supervisor, and adviser on coach-tech and organizational coaching. He is the first person in the world to offer executive coaching in virtual reality and incorporate some of the most cutting-edge technologies into coaching in a co-creative way. He is the Chair of the Coaching Professional apprenticeship trailblazer group, achieving Government approval in 2020. In 2022 he was recognised by Evoach as a CoachingTech Pioneer. He is also the author of How to Thrive as a Coach in a Digital World and sits on the ICF’s Technology Working Group and the Future of Coaching Collaboration.
