AC Signature Programme: Visual Coaching - A Practical Journey into Six Psychologies
Research suggests that using visual imagery and visual language when communicating helps people focus, engage, and take action. So why don’t more coaches incorporate visual techniques into their coaching practice?
This AC Signature Programme will explore the visual frontier of coaching and will metaphorically equip, encourage, and empower coaches to make the leap into the visual coaching ‘pool’.
Dr Yaron Prywes will introduce participants to innovative, field-tested visual techniques that can be integrated into existing coaching repertoires.
Participating in this programme will help coaches ‘see’ their current practice in a new light. They will better understand the limits of a ‘word heavy’ approach to coaching, and how that may unintentionally hold their clients back.
Finally, during the eight webinars in this Signature Programme participants will be exposed to visual techniques associated with six different schools of psychology.
Join us to become a more ‘well-rounded’ and capable coach.
Who is this Signature
Programme for?
New and Seasoned Coaches, Executive Coaches, Leader Coaches, Health Coaches and Internal Coaches are welcome to join us.
In this Signature Programme, you will learn:
• How and why visuals are more powerful than words alone • Visual coaching techniques to catalyze conversations • How aspects of your coaching practice may benefit from a visual infusion, including ‘good fit’ conversations and intake surveys • The approach to coaching that six different schools of psychology take, and which are most compatible with your coaching practice
Active learning
This programme will be highly interactive and will make use of polls, chat and break-out rooms to allow for paired conversations. Every week, Dr. Prywes will also host an optional 15-minute Q&A session following the 60-minute programme.
Description of each webinar
Webinar 1: Introduction The power of a picture, the visual void in coaching, and the three ‘buckets’ of Visual Coaching. Webinar 2: Psychodynamic Psychology An exploration of visual techniques designed to help clients access their authentic self.
Webinar 3: Existential Psychology An exploration of visual techniques designed to help clients face their mortality.
Webinar 4: Buddhist Psychology An exploration of visual techniques designed to help clients be more mindful.
Webinar 5: Developmental Psychology An exploration of visual techniques designed to expand a client’s capacity.
Webinar 6: Cognitive Psychology An exploration of visual techniques designed to help clients examine self-limiting beliefs.
Webinar 7: Positive Psychology An exploration of visual techniques designed to help clients harness ‘flow’.
Webinar 8: Closing Session This session is designed to help clients integrate what they have learned into their coaching practice.
Resources
Registered participants will gain access to the webinar recordings and slides after each session, along with resources from Dr Prywes as the programme progresses.
