Sharron McPherson

Sharron is the co-founder and Director of the Centre for Disruptive Technologies (CDT). A social impact network orchestrator on digital transformation strategies, leadership and workforce development for post-Covid Digital Transformation (DX) and DX project implementation.

She also teaches Project Finance at the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business. She is a pioneer in NEXUS thinking for smart city development and has been instrumental in the planning and development of some of Africa's largest smart city projects. In 2015, her pioneering work was awarded for innovation by the Tony Elumelu Foundation in recognition of the development of the Launchpad, a framework that leverages digital media to make social impact invention more accessible in Africa.

As a former Wall Street investment banker and attorney turned serial social impact entrepreneur, she has raised over $1 billion in investment and positively impacts over 1,000,000 people to create wealth and sustainable jobs.
