Speakers’ Bios

Professor Patricia Riddell specializes in how neuroscience can be applied to support and extend our understanding of human behaviour in the business world. She brings a unique combination of neuroscience, leadership and coaching skills to devise applications for individuals and

Patricia provides workshops for a wide range of business schools and businesses worldwide. She has co-authored a book - The Neuroscience of Leadership Coaching) - and written many book chapters and academic articles in coaching and leadership. She has a BSc in Physiological Sciences from The University of Glasgow, a Masters' degree in Quantitative Methods Applied to Physiology from Imperial College and a doctorate in Physiological Sciences from the University of Oxford.

Ian McDermott has trained a generation of coaches. For over 25 years, he has also pioneered, designed and delivered international Coach Approach Leadership programs for organizations ranging from mining to banking to NGOs.

Ian is the Founder of International Teaching Seminars (ITS), which recently celebrated its 35th Anniversary. ITS's mission is to give individuals, firms, and families the practical skills, tools, and techniques to innovate their own solutions. That's why he combined NLP and coaching. His books include The NLP Coach, The Art of Systems Thinking, and The Coaching Bible.
