Self-Care for Coaches and Supervisors
Lead with strength: Prioritize self-care to thrive in coaching and supervision. In a world that often emphasizes doing over being, coaches and therapists need to prioritize self-care by putting our oxygen masks on first. In this LinkedIn Live, Joanna Taylor will explore how supervision, reflection, and self-awareness are vital for maintaining safety and professionalism in our work. We often fall into the trap of meeting others’ needs at the expense of our own, which can lead to compassion fatigue and burnout. To truly connect with others with compassion, kindness, and empathy, we must first attend to our own needs and well-being.
Our guest, Joanna Taylor, is a UKCP-accredited neuro-linguistic psychotherapist, well-being coach, clinical hypnotherapist, clinical supervisor, and an INLPTA-certified trainer of NLP. An accredited member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), Joanna has been offering personal and professional development courses, workshops, and retreats for therapists, counsellors, and coaches since 2009.
Join us for this LinkedIn Live interview on Tuesday, 29 October, to gain valuable insights on balancing self-care with professional responsibilities and avoiding burnout. You will also get a sneak peek into the content of our upcoming Mental Health and Wellbeing conference.
