I have worked in secondary education since 1985 – as a teacher, middle and senior leader and school counsellor. As an experienced Vice Principal, I have extensive experience of educational leadership, organisational change and exceptional organisational outcomes. I have an in-depth understanding of mental health, conflict resolution through mediation and safeguarding issues having worked in the field of adolescent mental health since 1999. I have also taught on the MSc in Psychodynamic counselling programme at the University of London and have worked as a consultant and Associate Director on various Group Relations conferences.
I am a leadership coach and mentor committed to working in schools and education; I am here to help people succeed in whatever leadership role they have within the school. I draw on my psychological understanding and many years of experience to help leaders thrive in whatever demanding role they are in and achieve the goals set by the organisation. In my experience having quality time to focus on organisational and professional goals is very rewarding and helpful at both a personal and professional level and has a significant impact on the overall aims of the school.
