106: The Art and Skill of Service-Centered Coaching with Carolyn Freyer-Jones

“If we’re not being coached deeply then we can’t coach others deeply."

Carolyn Freyer-Jones, Coach, Facilitator and founder of the CFJ Coaching Success School, joins our host Sylvain Newton in our second AC DACH region podcast. Together they discuss the trajectory of a professional coach learning the art and skill of service-centered coaching and what it takes to grow a financially successful coaching business from the inside out.

Carolyn shares that coaches must learn how to accept the awkward, messy learning phases of practicing how to be in conversation with prospective clients and encourages us to slow down in the development process, putting aside the noise in our own heads in order to be fully present in service of clients. She stresses the importance of doing the inner work to become truly effective externally in our coaching businesses.
