Using the Schema Approach in Coaching

Schema therapy is a highly successful approach for helping clients with a range of mental health issues. Executive Coach Dr Iain McCormick has now adapted this approach, originally used with the clinical population, for use with coaching clients.

A schema is an early, organized, and persistent pattern of thoughts, feelings, and behaviour that has a profound impact on adult life. Schema can have either a positive or negative impact on the individual’s life.

This insightful webinar is based on Ian’s book “Schema Coaching: Overcoming Deep-seated Challenges”.

In this webinar you will learn:

  • The difference between schema therapy and schema coaching
  • The range of techniques most relevant to coaches
  • The ethics of schema coaching
  • The practical application of relevant schema techniques
  • About the Certificate in Schema Coaching and to apply to join

Who is this for?

This webinar is suitable for new coaches, seasoned coaches, executive coaches, team coaches, personal or career coaches, leader coaches, supervisors, HR /OD professionals, and internal coaches.
