Maria Iliffe -Wood will be asking us to "Let’s talk Spirituality and Supervision"
The AC coach supervision competency framework includes the following:
- Facilitates deeper self-awareness in the supervisee
- Attends to the supervisee’s state of mind
- Models use of own self-awareness
But what do we mean by self? As a coach supervisor whose work has a strong spiritual dimension, Maria Iliffe-Wood is drawn to exploring the idea of a deeper self; a self that sits beneath conditioning and everyday thought and that can offer guidance clarity and wisdom. In her experience, when people connect with his deeper self, they find themselves in a clearer, healthier, more creative and assured state of mind. In this session Maria will invite a collaborative conversation on what ‘self’ means to us as supervisors and discuss the links between spirituality and supervision. Together we will explore how awareness of the deeper self can inform our supervision practise, sharing wisdom and thoughts from our own experiences and perhaps triggering new insights and ideas on the subject for all of us.
