The Centre for Coaching is an international training centre and consultancy established in 2001. It is a leading training provider of coaching, psychological coaching and coaching psychology courses. As a coach training provider since 2001 it has trained over 1500 national and international students/delegates.
The Centre forms part of the International Academy for Professional Development Ltd (IAPD). They are International Society for Coaching Psychology Approved Centres. The Centre runs an AC Accredited Advanced Diploma in Coach Training.
The Director is Prof Stephen Palmer, an AC Honorary Life Fellow.

The Centre has pioneered the development of evidence based coaching. The main approach underpinned by research is Cognitive Behavioural and Solution Focused Coaching. Courses are modular an involve blended learning. Our Course Directors and trainers have published books and articles on coaching, coaching psychology and other topics.
In addition to the AC Accredited Advanced Diploma programme, our coaching courses are approved by the British Psychological Society for CPD and recognised by the International Society for Coaching Psychology and are run at the Centre or in-house. Include training in Coaching, Psychological Coaching, Coaching Psychology, and Stress Management & Performance Coaching.
