Tom developed his leadership skills working on over 70 high-pressure, collaborative projects as a theatre director on productions ranging from Fringe First-award-winner The Container to operas in Selfridge’s shoe section. He now shares these skills with businesses and individuals as a trainer and coach, specialising in exploring communications skills, leadership, and creativity. His practice is based on the belief that everyone has the capacity to over-come their challenges and achieve their goals in their own unique way. This potential is unlocked through asking open questions, listening deeply, and holding complete conviction in the coachee’s potential. Through this approach he has been able to coach leaders from varied fields and facing a wide range of challenges. Previous clients include PWC, Slaughter and May, British Airways, Taylor Wessing, Carlsberg, Ahli Bank, Reckitt Benckiser and NNL. He is an associate trainer with h2h and In Flow Training.
Tom offers person-centred coaching, mentoring and training with a specialisations around communication and presentation skills, leadership and creativity.
Tom has an on-going love of theatre, and interactive storytelling games. He is a lay Buddhist leader with SGI-UK providing support to local members and regularly giving lectures on Buddhism in the modern world
