I qualified as a coach in 2021 and have coached colleagues within HMRC and wider Civil Service. I am also an experienced mentor, and analytical trainer/assessor, and use this experience to compliment my coaching approach. Key skills include analysis, critical thinking, evidence-based decision making, sifting/interviewing/assessing, presentation skills, report compilation, stakeholder management, training delivery and workshop facilitation. I have developed a deep understanding of compliance, particularly in the Customs and Evasion/Organised Criminality space. I have experience working across departments, including collaborative analytical work, workshop facilitation and delivery of analytical training. I am also involved in crisis management/security, sustainability and wellbeing work.
Typical coaching arrangements include six hours of coaching over five or six sessions. These sessions are delivered via video call (60 minute session) and, where possible, offered in combination with alternate F2F (90 minute) sessions. In-person sessions can be done either in the office or out on a walk, weather allowing.
Spending time with family. Sports, including chess, football and all cue sports. Reading and TV series sci-fi/drama. At work I volunteer for sustainability and wellbeing networks, and play for the work chess team.
