Medical Coaching Supervision

In this webinar, Anne Calleja, Supervision Lead at the Association for Coaching, interviews Maggie João, Medical Coach and Supervisor, about why she got into medical coaching and what approach she uses in her Medical Coaching Supervision practice.

Medical Coaching helps people on their medical journeys, especially after a cure when they still have emotional wounds that they need support with.

As part of the interview, Anne asked Maggie to do a review of a supervision session that went particularly well in order to demonstrate her approach within a client session. Maggie explains her approach and touches on using the Seven-Eyed Model, Transactional Analysis, Clear Model and the Drama Triangle in her supervision sessions.

Speaker Bios

Anne Calleja, is a qualified, accredited and registered Psychotherapist and Supervisor (UKCP) , Registered BACP Counsellor and Supervisor, and registered Clinical Hypnotherapist (BSCH). Anne is also an Accredited Coach and Coach Supervisor with the Association for Coaching (AC), which means she provides Supervision for those who practise both Coaching and Therapy.

Maggie's background in Engineering gives her a pragmatic approach to Coaching and Coaching Supervision and she has spent a decade working for multinational companies within the Process Improvement arena. Having lived and worked in 12 countries she also has a good understanding of cultural differences. Maggie's entrepreneurial spirit found voice in the coaching world, where she has published 14 books about Coaching in several languages. Maggie holds the highest ethical and excellence standards in Coaching, having PCC credential by ICF and the EIA by the EMCC and having been the President of the International Coach Federation Portugal during 2015-2016.
