New Perspectives in Supervision: Mind-Based Coaching Supervision

In this webinar, Anne Calleja, Supervision Lead at the Association for Coaching, interviews Dr. Henry Campion, a University Accredited Coach Supervisor, about his mind-based approach to coaching supervision.

Henry spoke about his supervision practice being influenced by his past experiences working at the BBC and also the wellbeing triangle described by Dan Siegel - Relationship, the mind, and the brain-body system.

Henry’s supervisory style has its foundations in mindfulness. He said: “I think what it all boils down to is being present with my clients. Without an agenda. To embrace uncertainty. To attend to each moment as it unfolds. So I really am with my supervisee.”

Speaker Bios

Anne Calleja, is a qualified, accredited and registered Psychotherapist and Supervisor (UKCP) , Registered BACP Counsellor and Supervisor, and registered Clinical Hypnotherapist (BSCH). Anne is also an Accredited Coach and Coach Supervisor with the Association for Coaching (AC), which means she provides Supervision for those who practise both Coaching and Therapy.

Doctor, BBC TV science producer and senior manager, coach and now predominantly a coach supervisor - Henry has followed his passions and delights in helping others follow theirs. His initial supervisor training was with Peter Hawkins and Nick Smith in 2004. After 10 years perfecting his skills, he was accredited as a coaching supervisor with the AC in 2014 and with Oxford Brookes University in 2017. He also holds an advanced diploma in Executive Coaching with distinction (AoEC, 2007) and a PG Diploma in transpersonal (Psychosynthesis) counselling.
