I am an ADHD-informed, neuroaffirming coach supporting linguists and language professionals, particularly interpreters, translators, and freelancers working in cognitively demanding roles. My work is shaped by my background as a professional freelance interpreter and translator, giving me a strong understanding of cognitive load, emotional labour, and the self-management demands of independent language work.
My coaching focuses on executive functioning, sustainable working practices, and strengths-based self-understanding. I support clients to work with their brain rather than against it, particularly around focus, overwhelm, task initiation, emotional regulation, confidence, and professional identity.
While my current niche is linguists, my approach is transferable to other professionals navigating complex workloads and high cognitive demand.
- ADHD-informed, neuroaffirming coaching - Reflective and practical coaching to develop personalised, realistic strategies aligned with individual capacity, values, and goals - Executive functioning-focused support - Focus and attention support - Overwhelm and cognitive load management - Task initiation, planning, and prioritisation - Emotional regulation and confidence - Professional identity and self-trust - Sustainable working practices - Support with freelance, self-directed, and high-autonomy work - Supportive accountability and follow-through
I am interested in the intersection between neurodiversity, neuroscience, language work, and executive functioning, particularly how ADHD and cognitive differences influence attention, regulation, learning, and performance in complex, language-heavy roles. I am especially drawn to evidence-informed and neuroaffirmative approaches that support sustainable ways of working.
My interests include neuroscience-informed coaching, reflective practice, and continuing professional development in ADHD-informed approaches. I am also interested in professional identity, confidence, and wellbeing within freelance and high-autonomy work.
More broadly, I value inclusive practice, lifelong learning, and community building, and I enjoy engaging with interdisciplinary perspectives that bring together neuroscience, language, and coaching.
